About Us
Back in 2006, we began 100 Meals a Week with just our car trunk and a big heart. We’d pack food in our car trunk and deliver it to people who needed it. But our journey didn’t end there.
Fueled by our passion for service, we embarked on yet another noble endeavor: the Muslim Care Center. We have forged strategic alliances with numerous NGOs and community leaders, culminating in the establishment of The Muslim Care Centre (MCC) as a physical embodiment of our mission. Within a mere 18 months of its founding, MCC has emerged as a sanctuary of compassion, facilitating the distribution of over 600,000 meals to those in need against the backdrop of a global pandemic.
At the heart of our organization lies a steadfast commitment to simplifying the process of helping those in need. We understand that individuals, businesses, and institutions all have the desire to contribute, but may be hindered by logistical barriers. That’s why we take care of all the practical details, from food pickup to packaging, storage, and distribution, ensuring that everyone can easily participate in our cause without hassle.
Beyond mere sustenance, we offer a holistic array of services, including counseling, chiropractic care, dental services, and more, recognizing the multifaceted needs of vulnerable individuals.
While our roots may be firmly planted in Vancouver, we recognize that the need for our movement extends far beyond geographical boundaries.
We wholeheartedly believe in the power of global participation in giving back to communities worldwide. Together, united in our shared commitment to compassion and service, we possess the collective power to effect profound and lasting change. Let’s join our hands to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
